Unity in diversity project 2019
We are some students from Denmark, The Netherlands and Spain who participated in this Erasmus+ project which is called “Unity in diversity”.
Students from Turkey also participated.
During a week the Danish students hosted a match from Spain, Turkey or The Netherlands. The week was for us Danes (the host persons) and the foreign students. We all had a really good and funny week, with a lot of impressions and unforgettable memories.
We learned how to accommodate the exchange students and how to prepare everything for our matches, so that they will have the best week and feel welcome in our homes.
Here is the view from the students from Spain and The Netherlands.
“During this week we felt like at home and very welcomed”.
”We went to Copenhagen on Thursday, it was raining but we learned new things about the city. We also stayed in a square called “Den Røde Plads”, that has different things from different countries. From The Netherlands there is a parking for the bicycles. From Spain there is a statue of a bull. The place really represented the meaning by the project which is “unity in diversity”. After that we had some free time where we went sightseeing and shopping. the prices are different really different than in Spain and The Netherlands. That was one of the biggest cultural differences”
Here we have pictures from our trip to Copenhagen, where we took pictures with different things that present a nationality.
Overall it was an amazing week and a fun project. We all enjoyed the project and the travels very much. We think that these coorporations should continue in the future, because it is so educational for the youth. We loved it so much, and we are thankful for the opportunity that we got.
