Essentially: She found herself searching for demons in holes, so deep she couldn’t see the bottom. As time went on, she would see a faint reflection looking back at her.
Observation: Her reflection? How does she know it’s hers?
Absolutely, she sees pieces of traits she associates with her baby face, but they are warped, and they are blue, and they are fake. Perhaps, she cannot know herself by her body if she cannot trust her senses. Over time, the holes became shallow.
Hypothesis: She is a pollinator, she flew away.
She was gifted visions of herself all from the perspective of someone else. They’ve told her she has a great figure, but a less desirable facial expression. She found, however, knowing that she can never know her face, she cannot know that she exists as a true being. And now, reaching down into the supposedly deep holes of her consciousness, all that exists is empty space. She wished she had reached deeper when she couldn’t see the bottom. She could have filled herself up with resin and petals and finally been complete.
