He once walked three miles just to return six cents that a woman overpaid at his store.
He loved to read.
He taught himself to become a lawyer.
He was very tall, standing 6 feet, four inches
He is the first bearded president. He began growing a beard after receiving a letter from a little girl named Grace, who suggested that he should wear one.
He was an excellent speaker and loved to tell jokes.
Abraham Lincoln is remembered as one of, if not the best presidents America has ever had. He worked hard to end slavery and to keep the United States together after the brutal Civil War. Today, we honor Lincoln in many ways.
