Each OG can only select one option. Please discuss with your OG mates before you make the selection and appoint a representitive to register on behalf of the OG.
The VIA event options are on a first-come-first-serve basis. What you see in the form is what is left in terms of vacancies.

Leveraging on Reach Family Service Centre’s aim to seek for strengths and resources in the community to harness what is good to build and develop a stronger and inclusive community, you will:
Reach out to households staying in Blk 410 to collect stories amongst the community. These stories, compiled in English and Mother Tongue languages, will be published and distributed to residents during Good Samaritan Day in March 2023.
Clean the common areas of the block, as well as the common areas and windows (along corridors) of uninhabited units.
Spread festive cheer amongst the residents by distributing mandarin oranges and well-wishes, as well as decorating the lift lobbies and lifts. Let's get everyone ready for the Lunar New Year!
This project requires you to bring a rag for cleaning, and each OG should bring a pail. Please note that you are strongly encourage to wear a mask.

Deliverables:
Collect and consolidate stories based on residents/social workers ‘s hopes, dreams, passion or hobbies and translate into four languages to present at Good Samaritan Day in March. Submission of Google Slides (1 Slide per story) by 27 Jan, 12pm here

Note: Two-way transport will be provided.
Leveraging on the collaboration, we aim to seek for strengths and resources in the community to harness what is good to build and develop a stronger and inclusive community, you will:
Reach out to seniors living in the home and engage them in meaningful interaction.
Interact with KMS youth volunteers and learn from their volunteering experience.
Spread festive cheer among the residents by distributing the goodie bags.
Please note that this is a mask-on event. You are required to do ART testing upon arrival at BHEH for the safety of the elderly at BHEH.

Leveraging on AMKFSC Comnet Elderly Center’s mission to support vulnerable and low-income seniors to live independently and actively in the community, you will:
Reach out to the elderly staying in Blk 420, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 rental flats to collect stories from them.

MDAS (Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore)) was founded in 2000 to provide care and support to people with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) in Singapore. In this project, you will:
Reach out to residents staying at Blk 259 Marymount Road to spread awareness on MDAS's initiatives through their mailers.
Spread festive cheer amongst the residents by distributing mandarin oranges.
Do a simple community mapping of the Bishan North neighbourhood.
