COIL - Collaborative Online Program with PSU, US
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a form of virtual exchange between faculty and students in countries across the world. The program was launched in 2019 for Portland State University and its international university faculty partners. In order to help faculty learn how to create Collaborative Online International learning courses in which their students learn and solve problems in their fields of interest by working directly with students in a course at an international university, the COIL Scholar Program was created 5-part workshop series.
DESL is a curriculum development project in the field of energy efficient and smart lighting. Smart lighting covers in addition to energy efficiency also the human needs, health and wellbeing aspects of lighting applications. The project is being implemented at four universities in Vietnam and two universities in Myanmar in cooperation with three European Universities.
DESL promotes education to produce experts in the field of energy efficiency and smart lighting technologies which is in line with the needs of labor market in the partner countries. In addition to the activities aimed to provide improved access and quality of higher education. DESL activities are also aimed at strengthening the role and relevance of higher education in development and society.
DESL belongs to the Erasmus+ programmed of the European Union for the action Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE).
This action aims to support the modernization of higher education in the Partner Countries to contribute to the development of sustainable and inclusive socio-economic growth.
The project commenced on November 15,2019. The project duration is 3 years.
