Microscopic Properties of Quantum Materials

This is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the international workshop on microscopic properties of quantum materials, which will be held at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan during 1st and 2nd of August 2022.

In this workshop, we will discuss the noticeable properties of materials accessed by the microscopic experiments. Our focus is ranging from magnetic resonance experiments such as nuclear magnetic resonance and muon spin resonance to neutron, x-ray and optical experiments. Outstanding experts of microscopic experiments and theorist will share their recent achievements on variety of materials.

There is a direct train from New Chitose airport to Sapporo station. Please take "Rapid Airport" (37 min.) or "Special Rapid Airport" (33 min.).

From Sapporo station (JR or subway)

It will take about 10 minutes on foot.

COVID rules

We would like to kindly ask all the onsite participants to wear masks during the conference. You are encouraged to have three vaccinations, and record your health condition such as body temperature for one week before and after the conference. Anyone who has a fever is not allowed to enter the conference hall. Also please let me know if you have a fever within one week after the conference. We respect the local COVID rules in Sapporo city, which can be found here.
