Why Do We Fundraise?

• To be able to bring guest speakers into the classrooms

• To pay for Senior gifts

• To be able to award Student Scholarships

• To be able to fund special events and field trips for our music students

• To be able to send student leaders to camps, like the Drum Major Academy 

• To help support Marching Band Camp

• To help support the Color Guard, Winter Guard , Orchestra, Chorus, and Bands

• To be able to buy additional equipment for the music program

Ways you can help!

We welcome all parent involvement no matter how big or how small.  There are no commitments necessary. Even if you only have one hour to give - your time and support would be greatly valued and appreciated.   The following are some ways that you can help or volunteer your time.

Band Camp Volunteers

Help is needed to set up the tent, chairs, and water jugs at the field.  Chaperones are needed to help watch the students to make sure that no issues occur and no one gets sick or hurt.   

Football Game Volunteers

Help is needed with issuing and collecting uniforms before and after the games.  Chaperones are needed to supervise the students while in the stands and to hand out bottles of water during authorized water breaks.  Help is also needed at our fundraising table and to move the bands equipment on and off the field during the half time show

Event Volunteers

Help is needed to plan and set up before and after our events.  

Flower Sales

Help is needed before concerts and events selling flowers.

Parades

Help is needed with issuing and collecting uniforms before and after the parades.  Chaperones are needed to help supervise the students and hand out water while walking in the parades.

Raffle Baskets

Help is needed in gathering raffle items and with making up the raffle baskets for our fundraisers.
