Why do we have this project?
At ABJ we know that Jesus calls us to LIVE out our faith. In the book of James it says, "You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone." (James 2:24) This year we are "Called to More", and we want to provide you with MORE opportunities to really dive deeper into your faith and act! Things to consider when choosing what to do for your Orthopraxis Project?
What did I do last year? Is it something I want to continue to work on, or should I be exploring other options?
Will I be able to fulfill this option amidst my own restrictions? (Example, if you cannot drive.)
Contemplation should be a part of this project. Take time to contemplate on where you need to grow in your faith.
Lastly, consider talking to your Priest, Chaplain, or teacher about your faith journey to receive guidance.
Requirements:
6 hours. This may include volunteering hours, FAITH Pep sessions, or youth group sessions.
Must be okayed by the Religion teacher or chaplain prior.
If it is an ABJ full day retreat or a book study it is only based on completion not hours.
You must complete the written and confirmation of hours.
