Tryouts: We do not post lists. A personal conversation with one of the coaches will be given to each athlete explaining rationale and providing strengths and weaknesses of the player.
Excusing your athlete: When your son or daughter is going to be absent or late for any reason for an event, it is appreciated if it is communicated with the coach/es as well as with the front office of the school. It is an expectation that athletes are in school for all of their scheduled classes if they expect to play at games and practices. Consequences will be at the discretion of each coach if circumstances arise. Please try to schedule all appointments if at all possible on days when the team does not have an event.
Fees and Forms: Fees must be turned in before a jersey or team clothing is given to an athlete. Also, we follow a no pay no play policy. If circumstances arise that an athlete is legitimately unable to pay, they must talk to the athletic director to set up a payment plan. All permission forms MUST be handed in before the date of the first competition.
Our budget has been set based on the number of athletes participating on the roster as set by the coach. Therefore, there will be no refund of player fees if they choose to no longer participate on the team. If a player is removed from the team due to breaking the rules in their “Athletic Contract” no refund will be given. If a serious injury prevents an athlete from taking part in ANY physical activity and is accompanied by a doctor’s note within the first half of the season, a partial refund may be considered.
Communication: When issues happen regarding your athlete, the chain of communication is vital to maintain a healthy program. Please respect the 24-hour rule regarding communication with your coaches. If the issue is still important to address the next day we would encourage the athlete to address the coach first. If the issue still exists, the guardian of the athlete should contact the coach in a private setting. If there is still an issue, the athletic director and administration should be contacted to help mediate the situation.
If there is an issue with the league or incident at a league game or event please talk with the coach and do not email the league directly.
