Frequently Asked Questions about Service to School and Service to Community:
SERVICE to School
Here are some examples of what will be considered acceptable for application purposes:
If a Junior applicant did not participate in anything during grade 9, but the student was involved in two activities, clubs, or sports during grade 10, this will still be considered acceptable. The student MUST still meet the required school participation number regardless of whether it took place during grade 9 or 10.
If a Senior applicant did not participate in anything during grades 9 or 10, but the student was involved in three activities, clubs, or sports during grade 11, this will still be considered acceptable. The student MUST still meet the required school participation number regardless of whether it took place during grade 9, 10 or 11.
If either a Junior or Senior applicant participates in an activity currently underway in the Fall season, they may count that for application purposes as long as they have the proper coach's/adviser's contact information.
If a student participated in the same club, activity or sport in different school years, this will still be considered acceptable as long as they have the proper coach's/adviser's contact information.
