Meet the Teacher

Welcome to our classroom. My name is Makala McDonough this is my fifth year teaching and I am extremely excited to be in East Helena Montana. I can't wait to learn about my students and their families. In the meantime here is a little about me

I attended school at Rocky Mountain College where I graduated with a degree in elementary education as well as an endorsement in reading. I did my student teaching in a third grade classroom where I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge. I have had the amazing opportunity to coach volleyball, track and basketball for 22 different seasons in various age groups

I grew up on a little ranch right on the Rocky Mountain Front. I attended school in Augusta Montana which is where I first fell in love with teaching.

I am a proud dog owners to a St. Bernard, Millie, a Black Lab, Elsie and a Dachshund, Roscoe.
