The Finance Department's Office strives to provide financial and administrative leadership for our operations. Our mission is to provide sound financial statements and projections for the business to enable the pursuit of its mission to provide ethical real estate representation, contribute new knowledge through Tech, local economic development, basic and applied research and to provide excellence in the Real Estate community.
As primary owner of the business’s general ledger, our number one goal is to ensure the accuracy of the financial data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. It is of utmost importance that the business community be able to rely on the integrity of the data housed within the general ledger at all times in order to facilitate accuracy of reporting to federal and state government agencies, financial markets, accreditation bodies, the taxpayers and most importantly, our employees and their families.
Maintenance of the general ledger
Preparing the audited annual financial statements of the business
Financial transaction processing
Bank reconciliations & maintaining Banking relationship
Processing agent requests and commissions
A major role in the overall internal control environment of the business
Filing sales and use tax reports with the Department of Finance & Administration as needed
Processing and filing the annual unclaimed property report with the California State Auditor’s office
Preparing the annual benefits rate proposals, and negotiating that proposal with the Oversees Payroll / HR Services Relationship
Ensure timely payment of all business long-term debt obligations
Post-issuance compliance with IRS regulations and obligations
Accounts Payable / Account Receivable
Foundation building: Continual and progressive process improvement is also a critical function of this department
Erica Mendez joined e•homes on August 2, 2021, as the company’s first dedicated Accounting professional. In this role, she is pioneering the development of policies and procedures that will serve as the foundation for sound financial reporting and analysis. As she builds and leads the Finance team, Erica oversees the company’s overall cash flow management, payroll operations, tax compliance, insurance services, and strategic financial advisory.
A seasoned financial executive with more than 15 years of experience, Erica brings a wealth of expertise across Real Estate, FinTech, Private Equity investments, and Government Auditing. Before joining e•homes, she served as the Director of Finance at a software startup, where she played a pivotal role in financial strategy and operations. Her career also includes progressively senior positions at Clubspeed, as well as leadership roles at Coldwell Banker and the County of Riverside Assessor’s Office.
Throughout her career, Erica has earned various certifications that further strengthen her financial acumen. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, Ontario, CA campus. Committed to continuous learning and innovation, she strives to refine processes and drive efficiency in all aspects of financial operations.

Zoreeda Glover is our Staff Accountant at Headquarters. As part of the e•homes team she thrives in the fast-paced world of finance, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining records, and supporting business operations with meticulous attention to detail. Their responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits—all while upholding the integrity of financial data. She believes hard work is necessary for growth as she plans to grow within the company.
Beyond the professional sphere, Zoreeda is also a full-time college student, pursuing a degree in Psychology with a steadfast commitment to academic excellence. Balancing a demanding workload with rigorous coursework requires strong time management and an unwavering determination to succeed. Juggling corporate deadlines with exam preparations has fostered resilience, discipline, and an ability to handle complex financial challenges with ease.

She plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations by ensuring precision, consistency, and organization. With a strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic, Milan helps keep the team aligned and focused on their goals.
She strives for both effectiveness and efficiency, enjoys streamlining processes, and values collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality results. Always eager to learn and take on new challenges, Milan believes that as she grows, so does the company.
