Athletic Clearance Requirements & Process

At Valley we use an online clearance process to clear our athletes. The website is www.homecampus.com. Students will need to create an account and upload a current physical examination dated after May 1, 2024.

There will be free sports physicals offered on Wednesday, May 17 after school in the wrestling room. The 2023-24 sports physical examination form is in the front office and below if parents would like to bring a copy already filled out, and physical copies will be provided. NOTE: IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE SCHOOL YEAR TO 2023-24 AND UPLOAD THE NEW PHYSICAL.

VHS Athletic Clearance Requirements/Process

The athletic clearance process is how student athletes become eligible for athletic team competition at Valley High School. The process is a 3-Step process where the first two steps are completed by the student athlete and their parents and the final step is completed by the athletic director.

Step 1: Download a district athletic physical examination form and have a medical doctor fill it out.

**For the 24-25 school year your physical needs to be dated on/after 5/1/24.

Step 2: Create or update your profile on www.homecampus.com by filling out and signing all of the required forms. Upload your physical form to Home Campus.

NOTE: When choosing the school, write Valley/sacramento 

Step 3: Contact your coach and let them know that you have completed the athletic clearance process and are awaiting for the athletic director to approve your athletic clearance status. The athletic director will give the coaches a printout of your clearance that will be stamped. This is your ticket to practice.
