About me
I have been teaching in Elk Grove since 2005 and living here since 2003. My bachelor's degree is in humanities and religious studies, specifically ancient world religions; my master's degree is in education; and my teaching credentials are in science, English, industrial and technology education, home economics, and multiple subjects (elementary). I've taught everything from kindergarten to 12th grade, finding something I love about every level. Before teaching, I worked for the State of California in clerical, technical, and administrative roles. My hobbies include crocheting, puzzles, working on home-improvement projects, ham radio, supporting animal rescue (especially chickens and cats), and advocating for farmed animals; I also became an ethical vegan in February 2016.
