Franklin High School offers pathways and academy programs. STEAM offers “school within a school” program that allow students to explore a variety of technical fields based on industry standards while fulfilling the requirements for graduation.  Franklin High School’s STEAM offers six pathways/academy programs. 9th graders can select one of the exploratory elective classes referenced on the STEAM flyer below, but students must start their intro course in their pathway by 10th grade because these intro pathway classes are not available to 11th and 12th grade students.

To complete the STEAM program and receive recogition at graduation, students must complete three designated courses (30 credits) starting in 10th grade for one of the pathways.

Students must join STEAM in 10th grade to be in the pathway. Current 8th grade students (incoming 9th graders) may select one of the optional exploratory STEAM electives in 9th grade if they are interested, but it is not required.
