"There are phenomena or events, whether natural or synthetic, that you perceive in this world and question why these events happen.  Curiosity starts our process of questioning or confirming our interpretation of the events that occur around us.  Basically, we observe events, take notice of the details, wonder about aspects of the event we don’t understand, generate questions and devise ways to answer those questions with more relatable experiences for said event.  Moreover, we formulate a conceptual model in our minds that brilliantly explains the details of the event we observed.  Wow!  As teachers, we can harness that process of learning for our classes, allowing students to notice, wonder, question, and explain scientific concepts and relate these concepts to other disciplines.  When students discover a phenomenon and question the data presented, they can propose the explanations to their questions collectively."
