Structure of Matter: Atom and Periodic Table
CLASSIFICATION OF MATTER:
Properties of Matter - Physical and chemical changes
Synthetic Materia and Natural Resources Project
Light - Properties - How we see colors.
Light - How light Behaves - Reflection, Absorption, Transmission
You will do a research project to learn about a synthetic product. You will read various online articles, watch informational videos, and use library resources. Students will try to find answers to the following three guiding questions:
Students will design a ppt presentation analyzing the physics (energy, forces and motion) of a sport or physical activity. Students will design a ppt presentation researching information related to the sport.
Students apply the concepts of energy, energy transfer, transformations and waves to build a solar oven that uses the light energy from the sun. Students test their oven in cooking from a list of selected items during school hours.
