Graduation and Summer!
Congratulations to all of my 8th grade students! We've designed, built, tested, and learned a lot of things this year, so it's time for a well-deserved break to have some fun before the next big phase of your life: high school! As you move onward, I hope that some of the experiences and skills you gained as a "pre-engineer" stick with you and help you succeed at whatever you set your mind to!
Got something queued up? Have an idea you want to bring to life?
Visit the EHMS Makerspace in my lab, and let's build it! Our 3D printers and laser cutters can make almost any shape you can imagine, from birthday cards to gears - if you can design it!
Make an appointment with me by email or ask after class, and I'll be happy to help you create something!
We meet in my room, MC-09. Day to be determined. Watch this space or tell me you're interested! Here's the Google Classroom link!
Want to test your skills, or just learn and have fun? Come on by and join in!
By the way, did you know the Library has a chess area too? Check it out to get some practice in, or challenge a friend, on days we don't meet!
