Hello, my name is Ashleigh Silverman and I am so thrilled to be your third grade teacher this year. It is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and adventures. A big thank you to Mr. Lewis who taught you while I was on maternity leave. I want to know all about you, but first, I am going to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in California. I too went to school in the Elk Grove Unified School District. I graduated from California State University of Sacramento with my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. I also earned my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning. I have two credentials-- multiple subject and a special education with moderate severe students. This is my 8th year of teaching.

My husband Brett and I have two children. Easton is two years old and Emery is 5 months. Easton loves to ride his Strider bike and Emery is just starting to sit up. I love donuts, baking, and spending time with my family. I also love teaching and my third graders. I look forward to teaching you and helping you in your educational journey.
