Welcome to Dance!

Below you will find all the resources and information you need for the program at LCHS. Currently, we offer Dance 1, Dance 2, Dance 3, IB Dance SL & HL, Dance Composition and Performance 1-4. Within each course there is a strong emphasis of creativity, artistry, and content related to dance history, styles and genres. Please peruse the different courses below for more information.

Distance Learning

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, EGUSD have moved all instruction to remote, distance learning beginning on April 16, 2020 and commence on May 29, 2020. Assignments, activity, attendance, and office hours will be communicated through the Google Classroom and Synergy.

7th-12th Grades

For all courses combined, students should be assigned a total of 15-18 hours of distance learning per week, which includes BOTH instruction and student work, and must include 40 minutes of physical activity each day for students enrolled in a PE course. Please see the table below for the recommended time per course.
