When applying to some Universities or Scholarships, it is important for your counselor and/or teachers to write you a letter of recommendation. Unfortunately, sometimes we don't know you as well as we would like and therefore encourage you to fill out a "brag sheet". It's important to follow the guidelines below:
1. Please give counselor/teacher at least 2 weeks to write your letter of recommendation. More time is greatly appreciated.
2. Please do NOT ask for a letter of recommendation until you know you will need one.
3. Fill out the "brag sheet" as detailed as possible. We want to make sure to write you a great letter of recommendation, but will need some details of your life in order to do so.
4. For etiquette purposes, writing a thank you letter to everyone who has written you a letter of recommendation is welcomed. :)
