The School Counseling Program at Edward Harris, Jr. Middle School (EHMS) envisions a future where students achieve life-long success in the multi-facets of their lives. EHMS students are academically prepared and see learning as a continuous process. They are inspired to pursue careers and post-secondary aspirations that align with their purpose in life. Our students have a strong sense of self, are social change agents, possess cultural humility, and understand the importance of community relations. As trailblazers, our students are leaders, innovators, and competitors of the global workforce. The school counseling program at Edward Harris, Jr. Middle School is comprehensive, data-driven, student-centered, and accessible to all students. Our proactive and multi-tiered system of supports is developed to promote academic excellence, social and emotional development, and college and career readiness through equitable interventions.
