Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to 6th grade! It is my pleasure to announce that I will be your son/daughter's 6th grade English/Language Arts teacher for the 2026-27 school year. I'm excited about the opportunity to get to know you (both students and families), and I'm looking forward to a happy, productive, successful, and busy school year. 

During this course, students will learn, develop, and reinforce skills that will assist them in:

1. thinking critically, 

2. reading and interpreting a variety of texts, 

3. analyzing information, 

4. communicating effectively through writing and oral presentations, 

5. becoming better organized, and 

6. self-assessing or reflecting upon their own learning.
