You complete a reflection once per quarter. You will then have a conference with me to discuss your reflection and how things are going for you in class.
Assessment Corrections Template: Use this to document which mistakes you made on an assessment, as well as analyze and explain how you will improve. You must complete this before filling out the Assessment Retake form, which asks for your corrections.
Assessment Retake Form: Use this to request an opportunity to retake an assessment. You will need to provide evidence of your analysis of mistakes and strategies for improvement. You must wait for teacher response and can only take under supervision of the teacher in school.
Engagement/Conference Improvement Form: This is used to show additional evidence of your engagement in and out of class to improve the engagement score you received during your conference.
Organizational Tools: This document includes information on how to set up your Google Calendar, as well as useful organizational and research tools.
Grade Tracker: Use this spreadsheet to keep track of your assessments throughout the year. You can see how various categories are doing over time. Useful when reflecting on your learning.
College Recommendation Form: Use this to request consideration for a recommendation. Teacher will respond whether he will write one or not.
Start.Me Bookmark Page: This page has a plethora of tools for everyday use in the Latin class. It is great as a homepage, and includes links to resources like dictionaries, exercises, culture topics, and more. It is highly recommended that you bookmark this page.
Tips for studying, including a list of novellas and podcasts: This is an extensive document with tips for studying and learning Latin, as well as some resources like Latin novellas and podcasts you can use to get more Latin input.
Comprehensive Vocabulary List: Use this to keep track of your vocabulary throughout the year(s). Especially helpful when keeping track of your own personalized vocabulary. Useful for any level of Latin.
Noun Endings Chart: Use this to keep track of all noun endings. This is a comprehensive chart and makes the most sense in Latin 2 and above.
Verb Endings Chart: Use this to keep track of all verb endings. This is a comprehensive chart and makes the most sense in Latin 3 and above.
Digital Notebook: Use this to take all notes for class. It is organized by topic and very customizable. The link will force a copy to your Drive. You should name it "Last name, First name, Period X, Latin Notes, Quarter Y"
Story Map: This is one way to take notes on a story you've read.
