East Grand Rapids High School (EGRHS) Drama stages multiple productions during the school year. The department's Drama Club is a member of the International Thespian Society and hosts an annual Honor and Recognition Ceremony to celebrate students' accomplishments in the arts. Past sponsored events include trips to Broadway Chicago and The Stratford Shakespeare Festival. 

Our theatrical productions are open to all EGRHS students - everyone is welcome! In addition to acting roles, students are needed for many other areas of the production - including stage managing, sound and light design, stage crew, costuming, make-up, publicity, set construction, ushers and house managers.  See the Audition page for more details.

The Drama Club meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 3:05 pm in the Little Auditorium. All interested students are welcome!   First meeting will be Aug 20th, 2024 at 3:00 in the Little Auditorium.
