I grew up in a small town near Rochester, MN. After receiving my B.A.S. in Early Childhood Studies with licensure in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Minnesota- Duluth in 2005, I moved to East Grand Forks. I have 3 children, all in EGF schools and a goofball dog named Teddy. Outside of school I can usually be found doing something outdoors or reading a book.

Some may recognize me as a preschool teacher. I began teaching School Readiness in EGF in 2006 and really enjoyed spending my day with all the littles. The 2022-2023 school year finds me in a new role as a Special Education Teacher at New Heights!
