Greetings from the ILC (Independent Learning Center)! My name is Mrs. Emily Bydal Ruemmele and I am an EGF graduate with the class of 1999!
I graduated with my bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in mathematics from Mayville State University in 2005. I then did a lot of traveling and lived a short time in Bar Harbor, ME. I graduated with my master's degree as a special education strategist from the University of North Dakota in 2008.
I have been teaching in EGF since 2008. I currently teach in the ILC at the Senior High. I am also an Autism Spectrum Disorder consultant, Work Experience Coordinator, Special Olympics Coach and Assistant Girls Basketball Coach.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband Josh and our children Jack and Lenora Jo. We love to attend sporting events, travel and we spend our summers at our family lake cabin.
I strive to help my students be confident and comfortable, happy and independent. At the end of the day, we are all contributing members of our community and society, right along side one another.
