Mrs. Cariveau

Hello! My name is Carrie Cariveau. I was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mayville State University and later completed my master's degree in Special Education at the University of North Dakota. 

Before becoming a classroom teacher, I spent 11 years as a teacher in  Special Education. This year marks my ninth year teaching second grade at New Heights Elementary.  I truly enjoy helping young learners build confidence, discover new skills, and develop a love of learning. 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I live in the country with our two daughters, dog, and cat.  We love making memories together and enjoying all that country life has to offer.
