This year-long course will be an overview of United State history. The first semester of this course will cover European exploration, colonial life, the rise and impacts of slavery, the Civil War, and Reconstruction. Major topics covered in the second semester include major US court cases, World War I, World War II, industrial growth, and establishing personal liberties without conceding our civil liberties.
