I am an East Grand Forks native and have lived here almost for my whole life. I am a graduate of the University of North Dakota where I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I earned a master's degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Educational Leadership and recently attended Bemidji State University to complete classes for a middle school social studies endorsement.
I spent the first 22 years of my teaching career in the world of early childhood, teaching preschool and three years of kindergarten. The 2025 school year will start the next chapter teaching 6th grade Minnesota History. I am looking forward to challenge of working with a new age group and content area.
When not busy teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my 3 children grow and cheering them on in sports and life. I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, walking, spending time at the lake, cheering on the Greenwave and giving back to this great community!
