I am a native to East Grand Forks. I grew up here and earned my Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of North Dakota. I spent my first 11 years of teaching in Fisher, MN teaching preschool and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE). I have been teaching in EGF for the past 5 years; 3 years in kindergarten and now 2 years in preschool. I am working on Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Minnesota State University Moorhead. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the the Minnesota Rural Education Association as the teacher director from the north zone.

When not busy teaching I enjoy watching my children grow and cheering them on in sports. I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, spending time at the lake and cheering on the Greenwave!
