About Me
My name is Jake Johnson, and I am the developmental adapted PE teacher for East Grand Forks Public Schools. I service DAPE students at all four buildings in East Grand Forks. DAPE is a direct service of special education, available to all students age 3-21 who display a need through an evaluation. Once a student qualifies for DAPE, I become a part of the IEP team. Students who receive DAPE services will work directly or indirectly with me on both gross and fine motor skills, and I aim to align their DAPE goal with the MN PE standards specific to their grade level. I have been teaching in East Grand Forks Public Schools since 2007.
