Activities

Gaming Club

By Nik W

Gaming club as per usual continues with its usual activities, with a new D&D play-through that is centered around the Elder Scrolls universe; hopefully, they can get enough people to have a fun play-through. On another note, Mr. Berglund mentioned when asked that Grand Valley Animal Hospital had donated money to allow the club to purchase computers.

With the computers coming, the club is asking if anyone not currently in the club wants to play on the team for the club once they get everything for the PCs, they are currently discussing a plan for a fee to join but as of now, you are free to join any time you want. If you have any questions Mr. Berglund is willing to answer them, he is located in the English wing right next to the Library, he is also available before and after school.

Robotics

By Roberto Kerezsi

The Robotics Season has just started, and already a team from East Grand Forks, has qualified for the State Tournament at the end of January. Team 9821A, composed of students Thea Haaven-Farsted, Kyle Vonasek, and Tranquil Gauss, won 2nd at a Fisher tournament, along with a design award.

But what exactly is robotics? Thankfully, the team at VEX Robotics made a handy video explaining the game to newcomers of the activity.
