There are many ways to receive Financial Aid to help pay for a 2-year, 4-year, or trade school.


First, there is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application opens every year on October 1st and students do not have to know what college they are attending yet to complete it.

  1. Students need to create a FSA ID. If parents are helping pay for college, parents will also need to create a FSA ID.
