1) How to get permit (3 written exams)
Class B
School Bus (endorsement)
Passenger (endorsement)
MN Locations for testing (there are more but these are the closest)
-EGF does testing Wednesdays from 10am-11:15am
-Crookston does testing Thursdays from 10am-11:15am
-Thief River Falls does testing Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
ND Locations for testing (must schedule testing)
-Grand Forks 1951 N Washington St Mon-Fri 8am-4:45pm
2) Get DOT physical

This is required before they will give you your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP)
3) Take ELDT course (this can be done before written tests, just has to be completed before you can get your CLP)
At this point, you should go in and process your CLP (Commercial Learner's Permit)
You will need:
a) DOT Medical card
b) Birth certificate
c) Current Driver’s License
4)Next apply on the school website if you haven't already Join our Team
5)The school district will have you complete a DOT drug and alcohol screening at Sanford OCC Med.
6) Behind the wheel driving training
There is no specific required amount of hours, but they do need to be tracked and entered into the system before you can test. You do behind the wheel until you are comfortable and ready to test.

7) Schedule appointment for Road Test
-You will use 1 of our busses to take this test, so be sure to coordinate with Transportation Director
-This is a 3 part test
