We are looking forward to getting to know you and your child. It is our sincere hope that this school year marks the beginning of many successful and pleasant years for your child. You are your child's first and most important teacher. Your role as a teacher does not end when your child steps into the classroom. A cooperative effort between home and school will ensure a smooth transition for your child. It is important to show interest in what your child does in school, not only in kindergarten but throughout their school years.

School Bus Transportation
The East Grand Forks School District is committed to providing safe and efficient bus transportation for all eligible students between the bus stop nearest the student's home or daycare and his or her assigned school. Every transported elementary student in East Grand Forks will have no more than two selected drop off points. All students are required to have a completed school bus form on file. Telephone requests will not be honored. Transporting students to school and home/daycare will be accomplished with a consistent procedure that will work efficiently to eliminate confusion, and reduce the hazards to our students.
A form MUST be completed ONLY if your child plans to ride the East Grand Forks Public School bus. Please submit by June 30th to ensure a bussing assignment for your child for the 2023-2024 school year. Please complete this form for EACH CHILD planning on riding the bus. Go to the link below.

Health Forms
The school needs to have an up-to-date immunization record or proper documentations of legal exemption completed and turned in to the New Heights office by Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
