Meet Mrs. McKeown

Hello!  I am one of the special education teachers at Genet.  This year I will be working with Mrs. McHugh in kindergarten and with Mrs. Davis in 4th grade.  This will be my 20th year working at Genet.  I am so excited to meet all of the new students and families that I will be working with this year!  I have worked in 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades in the past as well.  I have also taught a self-contained Language Concepts class for students in grades 3-5 for many years.   My husband and I have 15 year old twin boys named Thomas and William.  We also have a 2 year old yellow lab named Cooper.  We love going to Cape Cod together in the summer and spending time in Lake George.  This past summer, we have enjoyed spending lots of time by our pool and visiting with family.  In my free time I enjoy taking Cooper to local parks, reading, baking, crafting, and spending time with my family.
