Hey everyone!! Just a little bit about me… I live in East Greenbush and I love my job. I am going to do everything I can to make this year successful and fun for you all. I grew up in Albany. I went to college at Springfield College for my Bachelor’s degree and then to The College of St. Rose for my Master’s. In my free time I love to hike, read, garden, ski, watch movies, cook, eat seafood and fresh vegetables and go to yoga classes. But most of all, I love spending time with my kids, family and friends. I have 3 kids...Nick is 24, Nia is 21 and Liz is 18. They are all in college and working hard. I am so proud of them. Hanging with my kids and my husband, Jeff, is my absolute favorite thing in the world! I love to travel too. I have travelled extensively in Greece, as both of my parents were born there and I love learning about my family’s background. I even went to summer camp in Greece when I was only 16! One of my favorite places to be is on a beach! There is just something about the sound of the waves crashing, the view of the water all the way to the horizon and the feel of the sand between my toes! It is one of my happy places!!

I will be teaching Science and ELA this year. I hope you are ready to learn so many new things. I know you will all become more confident in yourself as learners this year!! Guaranteed! You will rock 5th grade!
