A good rule when researching is to be sure to use at least 3 resources. Using the resources below, start with GALILEO to research your historical figure. Then use a book from the library, and one other resource below to research your person. If there are no books in the library on your person, then choose 2 sites below along with GALILEO.
Remember, Google is not a reliable place to search since ANYONE can put things on the internet. It is always better to use reputable sites first when researching.

Bibliography
You are writing a biography, but anytime you research, you will need a bibliography. A bibliography is a page that lists where you got your research. This lets whoever read your work, or listen to your speech, know that you aren't just making up your information.
Use the MyBib website to create a bibliography for your research. You do not need to sign-in or create an account. Just put in your sources and copy the bibliography to your paper! To learn how to use the website, use the resources below!
