Community Service
While community service is not a requirement to graduate at SEHS, it is strongly encouraged. College admissions and scholarship committees are taking a harder look at students' connection and service to their local communities when making selections.
In an effort to help students document their community service hours, the following log has been created.
community_service.xlsNOTE: The recommendation is that students perform 2 hours of community service per month. Remember, community service is anything a student does for someone outside of their immediate family for which they are not paid or reimbursed. Example: Mowing grass for the elderly lady next door is community service if one is not paid for the service.
