September 2nd @ 1:55 M, T, W, F and 12:20 Thursdays.
When the classroom door is open, this will be your signal to come down the stairs to pick up your child. Please remain at the top of the staircase until the door is open, as all classes will be in session. Bring your child's name placard daily to the door, this helps expedite dismissal and will help when there is a sub. If you are having someone else pick up, they will need the placard. If they do not have it, they will need to be on the emergency form and show ID.
With dismissal being from the classroom, parents and caregivers will need to park on the street and walk over to the school using the crosswalks and sidewalks. It will be extremely crowded with Kindergarten dismissing at the same time and will be important that you park on the street.
In Transitional Kindergarten we are lucky to have school bags for all TK students to use for the year. Therefore, TK students do not bring backpacks to school. These bags belong to the school and we are excited to have the children use them this year. We will let you know when the bags will be coming home; they will not go home for a few weeks.
Below is a wish list of items that your child's classroom could use and is completely optional.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated and helps enhance your child's learning experiences in TK with a variety of hands-on activities.
