Hello everyone!

My name is Mrs. Rallapalli, and I am so excited to be your 4^th grade teacher this year! I’m sure that we are going to have an amazing time, even with the unusual year ahead of us.

I wanted to introduce myself so that you all can get to know me a little better: I went to college in India, after which I moved to the United States nearly 30 years ago. I have a 26-year-old son who is working and a 22-year-old daughter who just graduated from college. I also have two adorable dogs: Rex, who is a 4-year-old Pyrenees/Lab mix, and Arlo, who is a 1-year-old golden doodle. They are super friendly, so don’t be surprised if they stop by to say hi over Zoom one day J

I love teaching all of the subjects, but my absolute favorite is math. I’m also super passionate about reading, so it should come as no surprise that we’re going to read a lot of great books this year! I love all kinds of fruits, and I grow apples, pomegranates, lemons, oranges, bell peppers, and tomatoes in my backyard. I also love to cook Indian, Italian, and Mexican food. Mrs. Medal introduced me to baking, and now I’m obsessed with making sweet treats for my family.

This is my 16^th year of teaching, and every year always ends up being extremely memorable. I’m sure you’d agree that this year is already starting off pretty special! While we may not be in person, I’m going to do my best to make sure that we have as amazing of a year as we would have otherwise. I would appreciate all your help in making this year as smooth and as memorable as we can.
