Advanced Performance Ensemble

This is a competing performance show choir. Many forms of pop, show and jazz music will be studied. Performances consist of simultaneous singing and dancing. This ensemble performs at many local functions as well as numerous festivals. There is some cost involved to cover costumes, festivals, and optional out-of-town venues. (Fundraising opportunities are offered.) Auditions will be held during the second week of the new school year.

Vocal Jazz Ensemble

This is an elite performance ensemble that reads and performs music of the jazz genre. You must be enrolled in another music class to participate. Rehearsals are held after school. This ensemble performs at many local functions as well as numerous festivals. There is some cost involved to cover costumes, festivals, and optional out-of-town venues. (Fundraising opportunities are offered.) Auditions are held in October.

Beginning/Intermediate Show Choir and Concert Choir

Non-Audition, Levelled by grade

This non-auditioned group learns to sing and dance a variety of popular, show and jazz material. Emphasis will be on development in the areas of dance, movement, vocal technique and music theory. They will also read and perform traditional concert choir pieces from all periods. No previous training is necessary.

They will perform at the Winter and Spring Concerts.

There is a minimal cost involved to cover the performance t-shirt.
