Sonam Kharade

I am a post-doctoral fellow at AISys lab in Computer Science and Engineering (CEC) Department, University of South Carolina, USA. I have conducted my doctoral research on "Control and Optimization of Stochastic Systems" at the Electrical Engineering Department, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, India. I received M.Tech and B.Tech degree in Electrical (2015) and Electronics (2013) engineering, respectively.

My research focuses on on the development of mathematical frameworks in control theory, incorporating machine learning techniques, and applying them to practical problems across various domains, such as robotics, mechanical engineering, power systems, and biology. I aim to contribute to the advancement of decision-making under uncertainty by integrating control theory, physics-informed learning, causal reasoning, and formal methods to develop real-world intelligent systems for multidisciplinary domains.
