Sr GPU Performance Modeling Engineer - Intel Bengaluru (Sept 2021 - Present)

I am working on functional modeling of Intel integrated and discrete GPUs. Mainly involved in the compression and color/pixel parts of the graphics pipeline.

Staff Engineer - SSIR-SAIT India Lab, Bengaluru (Dec 2019 - Sept 2021)

I worked in the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) architecture modeling team in SAIT India, Bengaluru. We model and evaluate the state of the art NPU architecture for the Samsung Exynos series chipset in SystemC.

Assistant System Engineer - Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Hyderabad (2012 - 2014)

Worked as Web Application developer in java platform for Western Union Money Transfer Company. My responsibilities were to implement new anti money laundering rules in the core money transfer application to detect suspicious transactions. And also to enforce country specific compliance regulations based on geographic location and previous money transaction history of a customer.

Awards & Achievements

  • I was awarded the Institute Research Award for the year 2020, for outstanding PhD research work by IITMadras.

  • 1st Prize for poster presentation at Make&Measure ANFF&AMMRF annual symposium, Sydney, 2017.

  • Best Paper Award for paper titled "MetaOptics: Software for designing metasurface optical elements" at ICOL conference, Dehradun, 2019.

  • Scored 709/1000(99.59 Percentile) in the GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2013.

  • Ranked 1153 out of∼300,000 students in the EAMCET(Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test) 2008.

  • Developed a Software GDoeSII and MetaOptics to generate and convert Image files to GDSII lithography format on Windows platform.

  • Delivered TED-like talk during that annual Electrical Engineering Symposium 2019 IIT Madras and received appreciation merit certificate.

Teaching Experience

I was a Teaching Assistant for several courses at IIT Madras during my MS and PhD. The following are the courses that I taught at IIT Madras.
