- - Courses taught: Electromagnetic Waves, Digital Systems, Introduction to Photonics, Advanced Photonics Laboratory. Fiber Optic Communication Technology, Waveguides Microwaves and RF circuit design.

Received Distinguished Alumni recognition and Gold medal from Gudlavalleru Engineering College.
Best outgoing student of Gudlavalleru Engineering College for 2009-13 B.Tech batch.
Won best poster award in the IEEE Workshop on Recent Advances in Photonics (WRAP)-2015, organized by IEEE Photonics Society.
The Optical Society (OSA)-IIT Madras chapter was selected for OSA Excellence Prize in the Professional Development category for the year 2016-17. I was the treasurer during the academic year.
Received Teaching Assistant Recognition Award (TARA) - 2017 for the quality and quantity of the Teaching assistant work in Electrical department at IIT Madras.
Presented a TED like talk on the topic “Twisting light in glass wires” at Electrical Engineering Research Symposium - 2019 at IIT Madras.
Received international travel grant from SERB, India for attending Seigman's summer school on lasers and applications-2019 at University of Rochester.

European Marie Curie IRSES Project: Carried research work in University of Southampton, UK on optical fiber components.
