Our first week in Reception
During the first two weeks in Reception, we have made lots of new friendships, practised new routines and have settled in really well. We have had the opportunity to explore our new classrooms and outside learning area.

We had to direct the Beebots around the classroom by using direction arrows.

Autumn
This half term, we have been learning all about Autumn and seasonal changes. As a class we discussed the weather and what clothes we would need to wear. We read the story 'The Leaf Thief' and we discussed how the leaves change colour. We then went on a Autumn walk around the school and listened to the leaves crunching under our feet. We collected different colour leaves to bring back to the classroom for us to explore, discuss and use in a range of activities such as leaf ruffing and painting.
