We were lucky enough to to attend the Civic Centre on Thursday 27th November to meet the Chairman, step inside the Council Chamber and learn about the role of the council in Rayleigh. It was a brilliant experience and every child got the opportunity to speak into the microphone to ask a questions, just as they would in a real council meeting!
