Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Foundations has been designed to prepare students to employ critical thinking and problem solving skills in a variety of real world scenarios. The overarching objective of the course is to expose students to an array of programs, applications, and technology and provide the groundwork for success throughout a student’s educational career. Students will engage in a host of hands-on activities designed to enhance technological efficiency and promote a positive future in the digital world. ICT Foundations will provide students with tools necessary to be a well-qualified participant in today's perpetually changing global economy.  After completing ICT Foundations students will have fulfilled the El Dorado Union High School District Technology Requirement needed for graduation and be able to select from a variety of courses within the ICT pathway.
