About Me

Hi guys!

I started teaching at Oak Ridge High School in 2014. I am no stranger to El Dorado Hills - or ORHS for that matter! I graduated from Oak Ridge in 2007. I then went to UC Davis with a declared theatre major (as I did a lot of performing with OR Drama as well as EDMT back in the day), but kept taking math classes on the side for fun. I soon realized I could handle the courses and switched my major to math halfway through my sophomore year. I graduated in 2011 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Education.

Loving Davis, I stayed there for the credential program while also getting married in 2011. <3. Once I finished up the year, we moved to San Jose where I taught AP Statistics and Pre-Calculus at Leland High School in the Almaden Valley. I loved it there and had a wonderful experience, while also working hard on weekends and nights to obtain my Master's degree. I now have my Master's in Mathematics Education.

In October of 2013, we had our beautiful daughter, Mackenzie! Looking for houses, my husband and I decided it was a good time to relocate back to my hometown - the beautiful El Dorado Hills! I am happy to be back and to be at my alma mater, Oak Ridge High School. In 2015, we had our second daughter, Madison. Both girls love to sing and dance and do math (or count at this age, but I'll take it!).

I am here to help you succeed! I am available by email or google hangouts for immediate assistance or to make an appointment. I am looking forward to a fun year!

Best,
