• Iqbal Novel Study - students will apply the reading strategies learned in class to comprehend the novel.  Student will also be completing a writing program where they will learn to write effective simple, compound and complex sentences that begin with a variety of words such as a subject, adverb, preposition, clausal and end/ing verbs.  

• Daily 5 Cafe - Students will rotate through 5 centers to improve reading comprehension, vocabulary (synonyms & antonyms), and tic tac toe writing.

• Municipal Government:  Urban & Rural Voting
